The crunch along this 4.3 mile portion of I-110 can be largely accounted for, when coupled with the sheer number of drivers in the Los Angeles area, by to the traffic going into and out of the area around Dodger Stadium. Hours lost total 5.4 million a year ($145 million in time-dollars lost) and 1.86 million gallons of gas are wasted.
